General Information Learning Objective The expected outcomes will be: an increased knowledge of the differential diagnosis of heritable causes of spontaneous bowel rupture; the ability to describe characteristic clinical features of connective tissue disorders associated with spontaneous bowel rupture; to demonstrate the importance of family history in assessing connective tissue contributions to bowel rupture; and outline management strategies of patients' with heritable connective tissue disorders associated with spontaneous bowel rupture.
