Stress and other factors of daily life can negatively impact breathing and health. Effective breathing, on the other hand, can help transform health, and promote mindfulness and resilience. Awareness and integration of breathing techniques can enable physicians to live healthier lives and empower them to incorporate their use into patient care. The course discusses the biomechanics and physiology of breathing, examines the science behind stress-relieving breathing techniques, and provides examples of stress-relieving breathing techniques.
